This video is a recording of a presentation I gave at the Book Club of California on February 2, 2026. I was invited to speak about the Diggers and the archive assembled over the past half century. The talk approaches the “Digger movement” as extending beyond the original Haight-Ashbury moment to include the Kaliflower network of communes, which carried forward the legacy of Free.
